well, it happened. my website is gone. it started on tripod.com over 11 years ago when i was 15. i taught myself HTML by viewing sources on various pages. i had a personal website. it was the beginning of all the things that were revolutionary at the time.
i spawned a website i dedicated to the movie SCREAM, soon followed a website about DAWSON'S CREEK, and then back to my roots, ME.
heather's state of being was even feature in a article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram when i was 15 that started a job at Class Acts, the kids section of the paper, which i wrote for until i turned 18.
geocities announced they were closing. however, when i logged in to find out when i needed to back up stuff, they said they would contact everyone via email and inform them when the deadline was. this DID NOT HAPPEN, and not all of my HTML is gone. all my photos, banners, buttons, all my hard work. i made that thing from scratch, which granted was no master piece, but it was before this BLOG world even existed. so now i'm forced to either PAY(conform) or start fucking BLOGGING, i even hate the word. BLOG. i've always just called it my BABBLINGS.
i miss it. it was all my work, nothing i copied or fucked up. all my wacky dreams, digital art, poetry, and other nerdy quirks. all my movie reviews, album reviews are all GONE, forever.
my main page can still be accessed at the INTERNET ARCHIVE, with all broken images.
but it's not the same.
if anyone would like to provide me with free website space to start all over again, KICK ASS, i'll make you cupcakes. if NOT, then check me out here, becoming a web sheep like everyone else.
baah, fucking, baah
